Is This It?
This could be the last weblog post for a while, or it could be the last one ever. I know that I’ve said this before, and yes, I may very well be the boy who cried wolf once too often, but because of things going on in my real world ( as opposed to my virtual world, which is here, with you, my friends) I just can’t carry on as before. Maybe some time down the line ( not the line that is marked in the sand that should not be crossed, although I’ve danced on the line, even gone over the line, and I’ve been over the line ever since) I’ll feel the need to come back here and let you all know about the comings and goings on Thewhitesettlers’ Croft. If you have enjoyed some of the weblog postings, or maybe even laughed, on the odd occasion ( sometimes very odd) then it has all been worthwhile. I have always tried to educate the peoples of theblogosphere, that visit my humblest, of humble little corner of the Blogosphere , and if you gained knowledge from visiting here, then that is good. I dabbled a bit with poetry, some of them are not bad, some are very dark, some are uncomfortable, and some may even bring a smile to your face. Island Blogging ( both here and at TheBeeB , BBC Scotland) has helped to keep my sanity, although some of you may disagree with that, it has also helped me make new friends, and good friends too. I hope that we can remain friends, even though I may not be connected to theBlogosphere for a while. I have learned a lot from you, some of it, I did not want, or need to learn about, it has been fun. Now it’s time to go, so use your brackets with care, don’t have brackets all over the place, and if you open a bracket, please remember to close it. THANK YOU Cheery…
A New My Way
Hello, my blog is here, and I must say my back is hurting
my posts may bring a tear, and maybe a bit of flirting
I’ve typed and broke the rule, while I’ve surfed t’internet highway
I’ve moaned, I’ve got my wish, I blogged it my way
My blogs, are blogged for you, och yeah I know that is pretension
I blogged what I felt inside, even with a great big erection
I have no plan or wooden horse, A careless post, typed on a weekday
Oh yes, I’ve just one wish, to blog it my way
Yeah there were some blogs, just one or two,
that didn’t mean a thing to you
But through my blogs, I learnt to shout
I met new friends who helped me out
I typed them all, and had a ball
And blogged it my way
I’ve typed, we’ve shed a tear, I’ve had my fill, my share of losing
I stink but felt all that, and can I say, in a fly-way
But no, och no that’s me, I blogged it my way

Hey Tw, you go back a long way on IB, and even if full-time blogging won’t fit into your ‘real’ life perhaps there will be room for a few pithy comments. If not, how about persuading Dodgy Dave to become Getoffthe’s secretary.
